The inaugural Brighton and Hove White Night event saw the Beatabet Collective offer 13 hours of experimental art, film, music and installations at Phoenix Brighton.
In October 2009, Beatabet planned a new show, followed by a 4-week exhibition. Two groups within the collective, Man Ray Sky and metaLuna were interested in the interplay between archive film and technology, and the Digital Film Archive Fund was a great opportunity to use archive footage in a project which could be included in White Night and the exhibition.
